Ethan's blessing

Me, Jonathan, and Ethan

He looked so adorable with his little bowtie!

There's Ethan with his grandma and pawpaw.

Ethan with his aunt Kelli and uncle David. (yes it's true, Kelli got braces!!!)

Ethan and one of his uncle Davids.

Jill, Johnny, and baby Bryn

There's Ethan with his cousin, Little Travis.

Ethan was blessed today at church, and we wanted to say thanks to everyone that was able to come. We were glad to be able to spend time with the family. After church, we went to the Ochoa's and had a delicious pot luck supper. So thanks to them for letting us party at their house. (sorry, I forgot to take pics at the fiesta). Oh, and I wanted to say thanks to Chef Jonathan for his impressive contribution. He found a recipe in a magazine for some sort of stuffed pork tenderloin and he whipped it up like it was nothing. It was one of those intimidating recipes, where you have to butterfly the meat, put the spinach, basil, and ricotta cheese filling in, and then roll it up, tie it with cooking string, and bake it. Sounds fancy, huh? Well he did an amazing job and everyone thought it was delicious! That boy's got skills!

It's practically free!

I put some clothes in a resale shop recently, and a few weeks later I had thirty bucks in my account! I spent the money on this exersaucer that was there, so I feel like I got it for free!

Ethan's sit-ups

Ethan tries to do sit-ups because he can't stand to lay down like a baby. Or maybe he just likes to work out?

He's like a big boy!

Ethan recently had his 4 month birthday and started eating cereal "like a big boy"! I think he likes it!

Dude!

This video's a little dark, but the best part is the giggling. For some reason, Ethan thought it was funny when I kept saying "Dude!". Guess you have to be a baby to understand.

Like father like son

Jonathan's already teaching him to work on his tan. I guess even Mexican's can't get dark enough.

Sunny days

It's been so nice and warm lately, so we've been taking Ethan to the Ochoa's to play outside. He always has fun outside, especially when he's with his mama.

"Twinses!"

Travis used to always push mine and Kelly's heads together and say "Twinses!" and wouldn't let us go 'til we got mad. I imagine he would have thought that would be funny to do to these two. Of course, that would be after he made fun of Ethan for his "weight problem". Oh Travis, he was definitely a funny guy.

The 4 Musketeers

Here are the 4 musketeers starting with Bryn, the oldest and wisest, then there's Roman, the whitey, Ethan, the Mexican wannabe, and Aaliyah, the baby of the babies. They're all so cute, I can't wait 'til they can talk! It's going to be hilarious!

Best Buds

Ethan was playing with his toys and Khalil decided to just climb on in! It was pretty cute to see them playing together. I guess Khalil needed to show him how it's done.

How romantical

I wrote "how romantical", but this really isn't romantic. Even though this picture cut off my feet, it looks like I would've had hobbit feet. The way they look proportioned to my body makes it seems like I'm a hobbit...without the hair.

Chippendale

Here's Ethan's chippendale picture. That's really his daddy's bowtie from when he worked at Pappadeaux's. We're definitely going to get a lot of use out of it. You could always use a bowtie.

Bathtime

Ethan loves his baths! His Aunt Taressa got him this robe and he obviously looks good in it. You can't get any cuter than this. You can try...but it's not going to happen.

Brotherly love

The Ochoa boys are close...but not THAT close. They think they're sooo funny.

He's brown!

While I was pregnant, Jonathan and I wondered if Ethan would turn out to be very Mexican since he's only a quarter. Of course, Jonathan really wanted him to be brown, and we didn't think he was 'til little Roman came along!

David & Michelle got married

Jonathan's brother, David, got married to Michelle on March 15, 2008. Their colors were green and (obviously) pink. We had to buy Ethan's shirt in the little girl's section, don't tell him. I think it's so sweet that David let Michelle pick whatever colors she wanted and he totally embraced it with his flashy pink suit!

They're free!!!

Jonathan likes to take their shirts off so they can hang out and watch tv. (Ethan's wearing his daddy's necklace, just to be cool, you know how it is.) At Grandad and Nana's house, the little boys like to take their shirts off and yell "We're free!!!" as they run around the room. (Sometimes the stripping of clothes doesn't stop with their shirts...yikes!)

Ethan tries to talk

Ethan always wakes up happy. It's so cute! He'll pretty much smile about anything in the morning. In this video he's trying to talk and he gets excited about it.
