He's a happy boy!

Ethan woke up so happy from his nap. I love to walk in his room and see him standing up and smiling at me, patiently waiting for someone to rescue him from his crib. He's so sweet, we just love him!

peek-a-boo

One of Ethan's favorite things to play with is an empty water bottle. It rolls around really easily and he likes to chase it. When it rolled under his baby bouncer, he crawled right after it and played under there for awhile. I know I say it all the time, but he's so cute!

Nice moves!

Ethan is really good at pulling up to almost anything, but it's the getting down that's tricky. He has to slowly lower himself to the floor, and he's very careful about it. It always looks like he's concentrating really hard. He was trying to get down from this box of toys, and I guess it was really hard because he stood like this for the longest time! It was so funny! He just held this position and was looking around while keeping his balance!

Ethan's legs are so squishy and I love it! I just had to take pictures of his cute little rolls!

push-ups

Sometimes when Ethan is crawling around, he picks his knees up off the floor. It looks so funny, like he's trying to do push-ups. Maybe his knees start to hurt from crawling, or maybe he just likes to work out.

Mmm, delicioso!

Ethan's 7 months old now and I found that he has two more teeth! He's had the bottom two, so I thought I would check the top to see how things were coming along, and bam! There they were, already sticking out! He's going to look a little silly when they get big, because they're not the middle two, but they're the ones on either side of the middle, so he'll have vampire teeth. We're still excited, so to celebrate, I gave him a vanilla wafer to chew on. Needless to say, he liked it.

I love Paris

Jonathan's parents went on vacation to Europe for two weeks and they brought us back presents! Ethan got an Austrian hat like on "The sound of Music", and this little onesie from Paris. He looks so cute in it, thanks Nana and Granddad!

our fourth of July

I'm a little behind with the blogging, but I wanted to share our fourth of July pictures with y'all. Jonathan's parents were out of town, actually they were out of the country. They went to Europe for two weeks, so we spent the holiday with my family. Melissa and Thomas threw a great swimmimg party, complete with hamburgers and fireworks. We had so much fun!

Jonathan doesn't look too happy because we made him get out of the pool. Jk, he had poison ivy so he wasn't feeling well.

Khalil loved the sparklers! He wasn't scared at all when it came to the fireworks, he just wanted more sparklers.

the little helper

I was visiting at my mom's house, and while everyone was chatting, I noticed Khalil got the dust pan out of the closet, figured out how to remove the brush part, and started sweeping the floor. He didn't know I was watching him at first, but when he saw me he just kept going. It was kind of tricky putting it back together, but he did his best to figure it out. He's such a little helper, it's so cute!

Around and around she goes!

Ethan let Aaliyah borrow his johnny jump-up since he doesn't use it that much. She seemed to like it, but Khalil had the most fun with it. We tried to show him how it worked and how to bounce her up and down, but he had a better, "more fun", idea. Poor little girl!

After she rode Khalil's crazy spinster ride, Rachel bounced her 'til she fell asleep. So sweet!
